Fruit and Vegetable Wash a Must for these Dirty Dozen Foods of 2015


Will an apple a day really keep the doctor away? Not quite, according to the 2015 Environmental Working Group’s Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides, wherein apples have been named the fruit with the highest number of pesticides for the fifth year in a row. Pesticides might be vital in keeping those pesky pests away from destroying and spoiling the freshness of fruits and vegetables, but these could have harmful effects when ingested. Before taking a bite out of that red, plump apple, make sure to use a special fruit and vegetable wash to ensure that you’re eating them clean.
